Hello All... Sorry it has been a long time since we last posted, life just gets really busy here at the barkery... Wheeew.. what a month! Anyhow, lots going on, I will post some pics between the time frame that I loast posted and now to speed yall up on the growth of our dear Tilly. Those will be in another posting shortly... Untilly then, here is one taken at
Dog Days of Scugog in Port Perry this past weekend.
This is her royalness at about 15 wks she is about 40lbs and growing up to be a big girl!

Hiiiiiiiii Tilly Here...
This is officially my first post...
Right now we are in Windsor staying at the travelodge hotel... we got some kool digs here... I have the biggest bed I have ever seen, a pool, free breakfast and highspeed internet... but mom insists that I can't use any of those cool services... And I was just getting ready to call room service... darn!
I am looking forward to going home to newmarket, where I will finally meet my grandpawrents... I will just give them the cutest puppy face and licks and sport my new bandana and hopefully since they are not expecting me, they will just fall in love... I know it.. but I will write in the full report when the time comes... I am also looking forward to meeting my older sisters... in this case I can't say big sisters cus little do they know, I will be much bigger than them.. "Tilly Then!"....

Sammy & Cali here.... mom is going nuts today, hustling around like a busy bee, getting everything she needs for her road trip to Michigan. Us girls are gonna stay with grammum & granpawp... Mom doesn't know that when she is away the puppies play! We get spoiled by the grandpawrents when mum is away... teeheee .. scratch scratch....
We know something is up, there has to be... mum has been cleaning up our room, and making sure that the donut beds are all clean and fluffed up... and and and... just all around acting a bit weird.... We know the puppy is coming home soon, but she is going overboard....
Anyhow... even though we miss our mum when she goes away, we know that there is always something fun or yummy to have when she gets back. She has already promised to bring us home something special! Smile, pant lick lick.... Well she is hollering for us to go out for our last pee of the night, over and out... till the next time...

2 More Sleeps!

Ok, 2 more sleeps till we take off to get baby Tilly!
I was talking to my partner in crime... Erica. She was telling me how much she is looking forward to going shopping to get new threads...
I also spoke to Rob from the breeder today, and Tilly got her paperwork to come across the border and so on... All healthy and ready to go... I am UBER excited.... the anxiety that is building up inside from keeping this secret is just about festered its way to the top and I am about ready to explode... I need to grab a pillow and SCREAM into it as loud as I can....
We decided to check out the 8 mile market and boutiques of Kalamazoo Michigan... That should be fun... it will probably take us almost all day to walk it, especially with Shrek, we will probably have to answer the typical dane questions about 3 zillion times... how much does he eat, weigh, can you putt a saddle on him and ride him? etc etc etc... That is one thing I am not looking forward to when I have my dane.... I think I will have a t-shirt made and when someone askes I can just tell them to read the shirt.... LOL!

Ok.. So it is Sunday... the parents are over at the barkery stuffing cookie bags, and I am home with the girls, I am cooking ribs and chicken boobies tonight for dinner, we have our family friends Matt and his buddy coming for dinner... have not seen them in a long time...
It is only 3 days until I leave for my trip, the anxiety is killing me... I can't wait to squeeeesh my new baby Tilly....
Sammy & Cali seem to be in good spirits about the new baby... I had a long talk while we were falling asleep last night with the girls, one on one side of my bed, and one on the other, me smack dab in the middle... I think with Tilly I am going to have to get a king size bed! I know what you are thinking, dogs don't belong on the bed... Mine do! Going to bed, just wouldn't be the same without a cold wet nose or 2 beside your ears on your pillow... I love having the girls as my bed guests... we have our routine... especailly with Sammy... Cali just sort of does what she wants... sometimes I get cuddles I night, other times, she lays in the corner near the wall..
Sammy gets up on the bed, and sits looking down at me until I get her pillow positioned properly, she then proceeds to lay down with her paws under the pillow, and her head on top... This all started when she was a baby.... see picture... This is Sammy as a baby with her head on the pillows!
Once Sammy knows I am asleep she will hop down into her donut bed on the floor... She is such a spoiled dog! Cali on the other hand, once she is asleep she is really asleep, sometimes she lays upside down with her paws straight in the air, and stays like that all night long... wish I had a pic of that... kinda hard in the dark!
Going to bed just isn't the same without our routine! I am going to be training Tilly to sleep on the floor on her brand new custom great dane mat that I am having made for her from Aviva designs... ohhh microsuede!

4 Days! Another Saturday

Hi All..
Ok, it is just another saturday, it is 7a.m. and my parents were awesome this morning, they decided to take the trailer to the market for me early, so I didn't have to rush around...
So here I am blogging, eating breakfast, and walking the girls.
It is 4 days now until I leave on the great adventure to get Tilly...
She is going to be great, however, still nervous about the possibility of my life coming to a quick halt when showing the parents the new baby... I am sorta 50/50... they are either going to fall in love, or I am going to be sleeping with my 3 dogs on the barkery floor. Am I crazy? LOL...
Ok, off the the market... I smell a "belly buster" for breakfast!

5 Days & Counting till my puppy comes home!
Made the reservation for the rental car today... ohhh.. Jeep Patriot!
Still have not yet told the parental figures... I figure it is easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission! LOL...
Hotel is booked.... Starting to pack up things I need.....
Keep watching, I will blog from Michigan!
Shrek got his needles today for crossing the border ... Forgot this is my first post... Shrek is a 195 lb Great Dane customer of mine who is going on the road trip to get Tilly!
The pics below are Tilly from day 1... can we all say loudly - AHHHH! The last pic is 6-7 weeks old!!!! I will be adding my other girls to this blog too in the near future.... Their names are Sammy & Cali....
